Install Instructions - String Release

For ease of Installation, please follow these steps in order.

1. Using a toothpick, place a small dab of common household Petroleum Jelly lubricant by slightly lifting the string off the nut and placing the small amount of lube between each string and the nut slots.
   
   
2. Position the proper size String-Release close behind the nut and force bend each string from the tuning gears into its own slot in the String-Release.
   
   
3. Slide the String-Release away from the nut in order to force the strings to go through the nut in a straight line. This will eliminate 95% of the friction and your guitar will stay in tune while you play.
   
   
4. You will notice that the strings are now free to return to where they were. If you cannot notice the strings returning, it is because the movement is so small that it is unnoticeable. A movement of one hair thickness at the nut will make your tone go out of tune one whole tone or 2 frets.
