Install Instructions - String Lock

For ease of Installation, please follow these steps in order.

1. Make sure that your guitar has some form of fine tuner already installed at the tail end.
   
   
2. Remove the 4 screws that hold the threaded bottom and the top of the Sta-Tuned String-Lock together.
   
   
3. Slip the threaded bottom under the strings between the nut and the tuning gears as close to the nut as possible. This will most likely be resting on top of the thrust rod cover.
   
   
4. Place the top of the string lock on top of the strings lining up the holes for the screws.
   
   
5. Move the string lock towards the nut as close as possible and with the supplied .078 Allen key, screw in the four screws supplied but do NOT tighten at this time.
   
   
6. Pre-tune your guitar (preferably with an electronic tuner) and now tighten all four screws on the String-Lock making sure not to strip the threads
   
   
7. You may now use the fine tuner to tune your guitar or alter your tuning from standard tuning.
