Install Instructions - Jazz-Style System

For ease of Installation, please follow these steps in order.

1. First install the String-Lock at the head of your guitar just behind the nut. (See String-Lock from top navigation).
   
   
2. Clamp the String-Mount Fine-Tuner onto the strings between the bridge and the tail piece as far back as possible. Make sure the main body and the leaf spring fingers are on top of the strings. Now position the Fine-Tuner as far back as possible and tighten the three screws with the threaded bar on the bottom of the strings.
   
   
3. Screw in the Fine-Tuner thumb screws to about 1/4 of their range.
   
   
4. Pre-tune your guitar using the tuning gears.
   
   
5. Now tighten the 4 screws on the String-Lock (not shown). It is the String-Lock that keeps your guitar in tune.
   
   
6. You may now fine tune your guitar with the floating Fine-Tuner.
