Install Instructions - Gibson-Style System

NOTE #1: This Sta-Tuner installation is for Guitars with a Stoptail or Stopbar tailpiece that has a distance between the two studs of 3 1/4 inches between centers.

For ease of Installation, please follow these steps in order.

1. Remove your strings from the guitar
   
   
2. Remove the old stop tail piece.
   
   
3. Place your new Sta-Tuner tail piece on your existing 3 1/4 in. center posts and adjust the Sta-Tuner screws midway of their travel. This will enable you to drop tune easily when needed.
   
   
4. Put new strings on your guitar.
   
   
5. Tune your guitar strings as you normally do using the tuning keys on the head of the guitar. Stretch your strings thoroughly to stabilize the tension and recheck your tuning.
   
   
6. Mount the String-Lock at this time and follow the installation instructions for the String-Lock.
